Petit Palace Eixample

The staff were the best part. Marina and Josè helped us at check-in, and Albert, Lucio, plus the woman at breakfast were all lovely too. Our little cat was welcomed, and the kids enjoyed the jacuzzi and eighth-floor pool. We had two clean rooms with balconies overlooking the main street, and the bidet was a nice added touch. The location is great, about five minutes from the famous Ramnla and ten from Boqueria. Thanks to everyone, we’ll miss you and will be back ❤️

We found the hotel comfortable and quiet, with friendly reception staff who responded courteously to our requests. The location was excellent, and breakfast offered a good, varied selection. Our room was fairly spacious, though the bathroom felt cramped. Since the window faced the inner courtyard, we barely heard street noise. Some service details were disappointing for a four-star hotel. There were no bathroom supplies in the room unless requested. We asked for a shower cap and tissues, and got just one little packet with three tissues. Housekeeping seemed to straighten up rather than properly clean: the bed was made and towels changed, but stains on the bathroom shelf stayed there, and used glasses weren’t replaced. The biggest problem came on our last evening when the hot water stopped. We reported it and staff said they already knew and were working on it, but by the next morning, our departure day, it still wasn’t fixed. Going without hot water overnight caused a lot of inconvenience. They offered late checkout as compensation, which felt pointless, and we expected more given what happened. Overall, cleanliness and service management need improvement.

This was my third visit, and I had another really good stay. The location is perfect, and the rooms are clean and nice. We had breakfast included for the first time, and it was very good. I love that there’s a rooftop pool, even though we didn’t use it this time ❤️ The kind, helpful staff made the visit extra special. Thanks to Lucio, Toni, Marina, Edo, Xavier, and everyone else. I’ll definitely be back! 🙏

We picked this hotel because I was traveling with my pup, and the room was set up perfectly to make her comfortable. The staff were really kind and helpful, the bed was very comfortable, and there was lots to do nearby in this walkable neighborhood. It’s right next to a metro station too. I loved our stay in Spain and everything about this hotel.
