The flat was spacious and cool, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers. It felt luxurious for two friends and would work perfectly for two couples exploring the city. There’s a small balcony opening onto a typical central Barcelona block, and the kitchen area has a comfy couch that can turn into another double bed. It’s right by Urgell Metro, which is super convenient, though we chose to walk everywhere and enjoy the city. The neighborhood isn’t touristy, so there are plenty of all kinds of cafes and bars. A great find, with that old-style Barcelona apartment feel.

Urgell Metro is practically at the door, about equally far from Plaça d’Espanya and Plaça de Catalunya. The apartment comfortably fit two couples and a child, and had a full kitchen, a hot, strong shower, and air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room. For breakfast we went to the bakery right downstairs, which had lots of tasty options. Excellent location and great value for money.
