We still think fondly of this special place and its lovely team. We spent one night at Petit Palace Hotel while driving back to Germany from Mallorca, and from the marble entrance hall onward it felt like stepping into another world in the middle of Barcelona. The charming courtyard, thoughtfully designed modern rooms, and exceptionally tasty breakfast made it much more than somewhere to sleep. Ana, Samira, Camila, and David gave us such warm service. We’re grateful for the conversations, laughter, and memories they helped create. If we’ve missed anyone by name, please know the whole team made us feel welcome. Their care and hospitality come through in everything. Our baby and dog were treated with so much affection, which meant a lot to us. The hotel and staff are truly welcoming to children and dogs, and that can’t be taken for granted. It’s also in a great spot in the old town, easy to reach and within walking distance of nearly all the major sights. The nearby parking garage has a partnership with the hotel, which made arriving by car convenient. We’d wholeheartedly recommend staying here, especially for families with kids or dogs, though it’s well worth a visit without them too. Thank you for such a lovely experience for all three of us. We had a great stay and I’d happily come back. The breakfast was a highlight, with lots to choose from, including savory food, fresh fruit, and sweets. The hotel also has a lovely indoor garden. It’s very centrally located in one of Barcelona’s best areas. Our beds were extremely comfortable, and the spacious bathrooms had all the basics, from shower gel and shampoo to conditioner and body lotion. The rooms were impressively quiet thanks to the well soundproofed windows.

We were both sick on our way to the hotel, and the staff were so helpful. They arranged a teledoc and pharmacy pickup for us. The lovely rooms open off the gardens, and the location in the Gothic Quarter was great. The staff were wonderful and spoke several languages. It all made for a lovely family visit to my companion’s daughter, who lives in Barcelona. I’d highly recommend it as a city base.

The staff at the desk were wonderful, and we enjoyed interacting with them and seeing how thoughtfully they looked after all the guests. Being able to leave luggage there if you arrive early is very helpful. The hotel is right on the Ramblas, close to the Central Market and Gothic Quarter. Our room was spotless, nicely equipped, and easy to reach by elevator. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone, including gluten-free options, pancakes, and eggs.

Petit Palace Boqueria, often listed as Petit Palace Boqueria Garden, is a small boutique hotel in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, right by La Rambla and just steps from La Boqueria market. Its central, atmospheric setting makes it easy to walk to the Gothic Quarter lanes, Plaça Catalunya, and even the port. That’s a real plus for sightseeing and photography.
