Hotel Garbi Millenni

We had to switch rooms three times because of different problems, and when I raised my concerns, the manager was rude, standing with his arms crossed defensively. The first room had bugs and was noisy. We could hear water running in the walls and people talking in the street. As other reviewers have said, the beds are hard as rocks and the pillows flat as cardboard. Our second room had no WiFi and was very small. The location is great, close to everything, but Hotel Garbi Millenni claims four stars and felt more like two. I'd look elsewhere.

The room was always clean, and the shower was always hot. Alex at the front desk was consistently helpful, and the breakfast buffet was just right to start the day. With a central location close to transit, it was great value.

The staff were the best part, always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room was small and dated, though clean and enough to rest in. It reminded me of a basic room with a shared bathroom, except this one was private. For a hotel calling itself four-star, the experience fell short, and I don't think it would be the best three-star either. The location was very convenient, just a super short walk to the metro, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. If you mainly need somewhere to sleep and value helpful staff and a good location, it does the job. Don't expect a proper four-star stay.

After reporting the ant infestation, we were told maintenance would inspect it the next day before the room was cleaned. When we returned after that supposed cleaning, nothing had changed. The room was absolutely crawling with ants, and the whole stay was miserable. Charging full price for this is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
