Iu was really nice and gave us some information about the city when we met at the apartment. I called him after we landed at barcelona airport. The place looked exactly like the photos, and it's in a central spot that's still in a quiet Neighborhood. The metro and the blue line tourist bus are both two minutes away. We grabbed coffee each morning at the nice coffee shop on the corner. Highly recommended.
We had a very pleasant stay and hope we can come back sometime, either to this appartement or another one at Bcn Aparts. Yours sincerely, Tina.
We checked out on March 12th, but the €200 hold is still there. The owner said it would be released automatically in seven days and asked me to be patient. It wasn't. My bank says the hold remains until March 30th. The apartment looked neglected, and the armchairs were shabby. There wasn't even a small wardrobe for hanging clothes. Cleaning cost €70, but it was poor. Some mugs had sticky residue on them, and I had to scrub them before using them. Bad, very bad.
The apartment was returned without any damage, but they held onto the deposit and didn't return it for a month.
