HCC St. Moritz

The location was great, and we had a spacious room, a good bed, and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was good too. But the furniture and bathroom felt outdated, and the walls were paper thin. We could hear everything from the rooms above, below, and beside us. There was also ongoing renovation work, with drilling and hammering that we kept hearing in some rooms from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. We didn’t get a good night’s sleep during our five-night stay.

The staff made the hotel feel welcoming and almost like a family, with hospitality well above what I expected. They offered local suggestions and helped us as soon as we arrived, which made the visit worthwhile. It’s in an excellent downtown spot, and the older building has been renovated in a luxurious way that makes it feel very comfortable. This was one of the best hotels I’ve chosen on my trips. I had a great time and will book the same place again. Thank you.

The location was the one good thing for me. The rooms need updating, and the shower in room 315 falls when you turn off the water. Staff needed prompting to do even the bare minimum, and I wish the hotel would train and look after them better so they have more enthusiasm for service. When I checked out, I met ms. Alexandra, the kindest and most helpful person there. She even helped me with my bags, although it wasn’t her job.

The HCC St Moritz was in a great spot for shopping, meals, and starting out to see the sights. Our room was spacious and well furnished, though the climate control seemed to switch on and off unpredictably. The stay was fantastic, from the staff coming out to help with our luggage late at night to the generous room. I’d recommend St Moritz and will likely return.
