HCC Taber

The breakfast staff greeted everyone warmly every morning, and the breakfast itself was excellent, pleasantly close to a Turkish-style breakfast. The reception team were also friendly and helpful. Special thanks to JOYCE and HELENA for patiently printing my tour reservation documents each day. I spent four nights at HCC Taber Hotel on a business trip after reading reviews of several Eixample hotels, and I’m glad I chose it. The location is perfect, and although it’s a 3-star hotel, the quality and service exceed expectations. For me it’s a 10/10, and I’ll recommend it to colleagues and friends. Whenever I visit Barcelona, HCC Taber Hotel will be my choice. Simply outstanding, I recommend it without hesitation.

My room had only a small window facing a dim little alley, so there was almost no natural light. That might be fine if you just need a place to sleep, but if you expect to spend time in the room, it’s better to confirm which one you’ll get. The location is logistically perfect, and the room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was good too.

The staff were attentive and nice, and the location is excellent, near Passeig de Gràcia, the main street, with plenty of restaurants and markets nearby. Our room was on the small side, though it had a balcony with a not-too-bad view. The bathroom and shower were small too, and water got everywhere unless you stood directly under the shower head.

It was clean and right in central Las Ramblas, so restaurants were only a short walk away. We tried Cachito's and the Tapas were amazing. It wasn’t a quiet hotel, though: the sound of running water seemed constant, and the breakfast buffet smell started around 6 a.m., which was extremely annoying.
