The shared lounge and terrace were nice extras, and we appreciated the drinks and snacks, plus daily housekeeping. Our room had plenty of space, with a sitting area and desk, and it was comfortable. The central spot made it easy to walk to many sights or use several metro lines and buses. We really enjoyed our stay in Barcelona.

We were able to leave our bags for free and use the lounge after checkout, which was a really welcoming gesture from the host. The room was spotless and cleaned daily, and it had much more space than most rooms. Water, coffee, snacks, and everything else we needed were provided. I had a fantastic time here and would happily come back on another Barcelona trip.

The beds were amazing, and the rooms were lovely. Check-in was flexible, the location worked well, and there was complimentary water, coffee, and biscuits. We had a lovely stay at The Conica ❤️

The cancellation caused a huge disruption to my travel plans, and I was never notified beforehand. I also never received a message about failed payment attempts. There were sufficient funds, and my card was not invalid, so a simple call or email could have alerted me to whatever went wrong. When I asked staff for a direct email address, they couldn't give me one. My frustration was with the staff's behavior and the hotel's process, not the loss of a special promotional offer. On the phone, the front desk was obnoxious, dishonest, and showed no empathy about payment communication problems caused by the hotel, not me. When challenged, the staff member became aggressive and argumentative. I reported the provider to Booking.com for unacceptable behavior. The response from the business only reinforced my view that it has problems with service, reservations, and being truthful and sticking to the facts. In my opinion, its arrogant tone toward potential customers heading to Barcelona says a lot about its incompetence. Fortunately, I found a more professional place to stay for my holiday.
