It’s a reasonable alternative to downtown hotels, with comfortable beds, internet, friendly staff, and a great location. But the price still feels high for what you get. The street is VERY noisy, there’s a long-haul bus departure point right below the window, and the building shakes whenever the underground train passes. The linen and towels weren’t really clean.

The managers were very understanding when our group failed to communicate our check-in time. We were visiting on a busy weekend and had trouble getting in touch without internet, but they tried hard to help us keep the reservation. Towels are provided, and the place was very clean. It’s near everything, including the beach, sagrada familia, and park guell.

The room was old, but it was clean. The owner was friendly, and the place is very central.

The room was tiny and wasn’t available until 3:30 pm, even though we got there at noon, so we spent three hours waiting in the street. When we came back, the manager acted like we hadn’t come to make a reservation. Absolutely no tact, and she didn’t even try to speak French. She was extremely unpleasant. Avoid at all costs!!!
