Be Barcelona Eixample Gran Via

The place was a little tricky to find, but a lovely small accommodation with the essentials for a city break. It's close to the city centre, metro and buses, all about a 5-6 minute walk. We stayed one night in a clean room and had coffee the next morning while looking out from the balcony. We arrived in the city early, around 11-12 am, though our booking was for 15 pm, and asked if we could leave our bags. José was lovely and immediately offered us a clean room that was ready, so we checked in almost 3 hours early. We were there in March, outside the main tourist season.

The beds are comfortable and the cleaning happens every day. The basics are covered, but it's noisy, and the TV only gets Spanish channels. A cheap smart TV would be useful. They plan to renovate the whole place next year. If they sort out the noise without raising the price, I'd definitely return if I come back.

Our balcony had a wonderful view, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Right around the hotel there were lots of great restaurants, bars and cafes. It was in the middle of everything we wanted to see in Barcelona, and the staff were kind, helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Jose was extremely friendly and helpful, and the staff were accommodating when we called the day before to add a third person to our booking. We were three young girls and felt very safe staying here. The room matched the photos and was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance. I'd read some very harsh reviews and wasn't sure what to expect, but I had a really pleasant, comfortable stay throughout the holiday. I'd definitely stay here again if I returned to Barcelona.
