My wife and I stayed six nights during Easter Week 2025, and we'd come back. It was good value, with the city center and beach just a short walk away. The staff were friendly, and someone was at the front desk 24x7. The room was simple, with enough space for the two of us and our luggage. I'm a big guy, and the shower setup was a bit challenging. It was also hard to keep the water in the tub.

The main problem was the noise, which made sleep impossible even with earplugs. Traffic from the main road right outside carried on well past midnight, with motorbikes, cars, football fans, and more. I'm not sure the hotel can do much about the street noise, but they could look into the plumbing. When someone used the bathroom or shower, it rattled and banged for ages. Otherwise, it's a fine hotel: clean room, good Wi-Fi, very good location, and helpful staff when I interacted with them. I'd stay again in a heartbeat if it weren't for all that noise.

The room was tiny, smelled a bit dusty, and had very cheap furniture. It also looked nothing like the photos on Booking.com, which was a big disappointment. There was no soundproofing either: hallway conversations and drilling at 10 AM made it hard to rest. The only thing I was glad to have was the air conditioning. At check-in, a man at reception handled my arrival awkwardly, and I was surprised by a tourist tax that hadn’t been clearly mentioned when I booked. I paid because I didn’t have another option. Communication was difficult too. The staff spoke only Spanish and struggled with basic English. When I asked for a spoon, they didn’t understand until I explained it in a roundabout way. In a tourist city like Barcelona, that gap is unacceptable. To me, the hotel feels well below average and isn’t worth it. I’d spend a little more on somewhere better.

I slept comfortably, and the rooms are generally well insulated from noise. They’re clean, have a balcony, and include a kitchen area with somewhere to sit. Cleaning was excellent, and having someone at the front desk around the clock was very convenient. The rooms look larger in the photos than they really are. Still, this is a good choice for a short stay in Barcelona, and the location is good.
