You’re just a short walk from La Rambla’s crowds, with plenty of places to eat and see nearby. The location is top notch, and the staff were polite and welcoming. They even warned us about the widespread pickpocketing in BCN and told us to keep a close eye on our phones. The rooms were clean and spacious, just right for a casual weekend away. Thanks!

Rodrigo went out of his way to get me a quieter room, and I’m glad I chose this hotel after comparing it with a few others. The exterior and facilities are humble, but inside everything is modern, clean, and neat. It’s clearly well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The main problem was the rate: 170 euros for a one-star room that would normally cost 70 or 80 euros is hard to defend. I know hotels follow the market, but inflated prices add to a wider problem in Barcelona and hurt visitors and local residents. The city is trying to find a balance again, and hotel owners have a part in that. When I raised it at reception, I was told other hotels do the same. That misses the point. Responsibility means deciding your own standards instead of copying others. Profit matters in business, but so should respect for guests and the community. I hope the owners think about the long-term effects of their pricing. A fairer approach could help the hotel’s reputation and Barcelona’s image as a city that values integrity and hospitality. I stayed one night for a business event and wanted to get a sense of the property. The front desk staff were exceptionally kind and professional. Just one person was working that evening, but they handled the busy situation calmly and with care. The room was clean and practical, with no carpet, which makes cleaning and hygiene easier. The bed and linens were spotless, and the simple bathroom worked fully. Some things, like the curtains, were dated, but that’s fine for a one-star hotel. The staff were wonderful, and cleanliness was very good.

Everything worked, and it felt like an honest hotel. Great value, a great location just 2-3 minutes from Ramblas, and the reception staff were excellent and very helpful.
