We felt safe and welcome, and really liked the feel of Hotel Ginebra in the heart of Barcelona. Everyone on staff went out of their way to help and answer our questions, which was a lovely surprise. We chose it for its central spot at Placa de Catalunya, close to all the mass transit. We'd highly recommend it and will definitely come back.

BED BUG ALERT! We were in room 106 and came home with bedbugs. We thought the hotel was economical for Barcelona, but now we're spending more than the cost of a 5-star stay to get rid of them. Dios mio! The location and hospitality were great, though. Thanks to the reception team.

Right in the middle of the city, the location couldn't be better. Yvonne and her team were brilliant, really friendly, and made everything feel safe. Nothing was ever a problem. I've already booked another stay for later this year.

The staff were attentive and happy to sort out any issues. I was upgraded to a double room with a view, and sitting on my little balcony looking over the square while I ate breakfast was so nice. Five stars.

The rooms were huge, which was a nice surprise in Europe. We had an enclosed balcony where we could sit with a drink and watch the world go by. With a bit of work, this place could be pretty cool. It wasn't too bad overall. The location is great for seeing everything, and there are heaps of restaurants and cafes within 500 metres of the door.
