Hotel Toledano Ramblas

You can step out to La Rambla, with restaurants and shops only moments away. The hotel was clean and modern, with plenty of charm, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. A great place for exploring the heart of Barcelona!

Right on Las Ramblas, this place is in a great spot, just a few minutes' walk from the tube and the hop-on hop-off tourist bus stop. There's a 24-hour reception, but no food offered here. It's a decent enough, very basic hotel if you mainly need somewhere to sleep. My room was small and dated, with little holes in the curtains, and the bed was very low. The bathroom, though, was modern and clean.

Omg, I can't believe anyone calls this a hotel. The rooms were small and dirty, with old, broken furniture, dirty AC, curtains, and bed sheets. NO NO NO, don't stay here!

The views of Las Ramblas were great, though not for anyone who dislikes heights, and the location was brilliant. Staff were friendly too. But the room's cleanliness was poor. The decorative top bedding was dirty on both beds, there was a swarm of ants under one bed, and the bathroom was mouldy. The sheets underneath looked clean but smelled funny. The hotel said that was the fabric conditioner. The shower-head attachment was already broken when we arrived. After I reviewed it on booking.com, the hotel replied that customers cause this and it takes a few days to fix. I wasn't sure if that was aimed at me and my family. The shower-gel packets looked worn, as if they might be reused when a guest doesn't want them. I don't actually mind if they're new, and the hotel said they are new for every guest. The TV is tiny for a family room. You could hear everything happening at reception, though that may be expected in a small, one-floor hotel.
