Ibis Styles Barcelona Centre Hotel

The neighborhood and location are excellent, and I’d highly recommend staying here. The rooms are small but very functional, which is what I like about Ibis hotels. From check-in through the end of the stay, we felt welcome. The reception team and room service were friendly, and Veronica helped make breakfast feel especially pleasant, with a good, balanced selection of food.

The staff were lovely, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location is also great, with some amazing sights within walking distance. But noise from other rooms carries a lot. You can hear doors slamming, noisy neighbors, and even hushed whispers. If you’re a light sleeper, it can keep you up, and for this price I’d expect better. I had a great experience in many ways, but light sleepers who don’t want noisy neighbors may prefer somewhere else.

We were four colleagues in Barcelona for a course. We first found the hotel on booking.com, then booked through the accor site (all.com), which was quick and easy. The hotel is well placed, with tram, Metro, and bus stops just a couple of minutes’ walk away. Everything felt straightforward and comfortable, from check-in and getting information to billing and paying the city tax. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good, though in winter I would’ve liked something hot, such as porridge.

Despite being centrally located, the hotel felt quiet and welcoming. The staff were friendly and gave us helpful suggestions for places to eat. Breakfast was convenient, with plenty of tasty options. The location is great for attractions and restaurants, and we had a lovely stay. I’d recommend it to others.
