Luxurious apartment in the center of Barcelona

A very clean hotel in a great location, with friendly, professional service. I had an excellent stay.

We were three people and were very happy with the stay. The receptionist welcomed us warmly and helped us save money by explaining how to get around. The place is exceptionally well located and very clean. You can hear the neighbors, especially those upstairs, which is the one reason I gave it four stars. Otherwise, great value and lovely staff.

Carla made check-in easy even though we didn't speak the language. We used Google Translate, and she also offered to hold our bags while she cleaned, then put them in the room. We arrived before check-in time and someone was there to help. When we finally saw the room later, it was spotless, with comfortable beds, plenty of space, and a nice temperature. My mom, her boyfriend, and I went in October 2018, and all three of us were pleasantly surprised. It was our first hostel instead of a hotel, right in the middle of the city among great shops and food. I really appreciated Carla and the hostel, and would definitely stay again.

The location is fantastic, but the management's response needs a lot of work. My friends and I checked in late at night and found bedbugs. We were exhausted after a long flight to Barcelona, but couldn't sleep because the receptionist or owner couldn't be reached all night. We ended up spending the night on the street with all our baggage. Other Google reviews suggest the management has repeatedly failed to care for guests' concerns. I wouldn't recommend this place. Book at your own risk.
