Carlos and Alex were good hosts and very helpful. Our flight was delayed, and Carlos kept in touch with us late and checked us in. The location was good, but the room was small and had no natural light, even though I’d requested a room with a window. It was also too noisy: another occupant kept ringing the doorbell, even at 2 am. The neighborhood wasn’t great either, with lots of drunk people making noise at night.

DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE, YOU'LL BE REALLY DISAPPOINTED. IT'S A RESIDENTIAL BUILDING, NOT A HOTEL. YOU CAN SMELL THE TENANTS COOKING AND MORE. DIRTY, DIRTY PLACE. THESE FEW PICS SHOW THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING, AND I ONLY POSTED THREE PICS OF THE INSIDE. THIS WAS JUST RECENTLY, JULY 2018.

For our first time staying in a guesthouse, this turned out to be a comfortable choice. The host was really nice and welcoming, and we had a spacious room with a separate dressing room. The kitchen had everything we needed, the internet worked, and the bathroom had a large shower with good hot water pressure.

There’s no sign, and it turned out to be a guesthouse rather than the hotel we thought we’d booked. Still, the rooms are clean and nice, you can use the kitchen, and it’s close to the metro. The price was convenient.

The room was clean and comfortable, a nice option in Barcelona. Remember to contact the manager before you arrive, since there’s no reception.
