It was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay, and good value for the money. Everything else was perfect. The only thing I’d change is check-in: the self-service kiosk didn’t work very well and was frustrating.

Our beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. We did have some trouble with our group’s passcodes being changed, but it was sorted out quickly.

We stayed on the 5th floor at MH Apartment Suites. The small elevator was a help, since the stairs were narrow, marble and a slipping hazard, with a tight spiral. The apartment had two bedrooms, one king bed and two twin beds, a bathroom, galley kitchen and living room. It’s within walking distance of Sagrada Famalia, and there are small fruit markets, a couple of restaurants, a school and a laundry mat nearby. There was a washing machine in the apartment, but it was small, and we couldn’t work out how to use it or whether it had a dryer. Check-in is by phone and kiosks, so you don’t actually speak to someone face to face, which felt kind of weird.

The rooms were fine and the AC got nice and cold, and the location was good. But the bathrooms seemed to have mold that could be a health hazard, so they should probably fix that. Check-in was horrible. None of the 7 credit or debit cards we had with us were accepted.

The check-in machine worked fine for us, and we had no problems with it. The place is superb for a stay, especially for families, with a bus station nearby and the metro just a few steps away. I love it and would recommend it. 🙏🙏😊😊💯💯
