Three stars at best. The lift makes it clear the building has been around for a while, and the room feels dated too. All the charging outlets were USB, the water pressure wasn’t great, and the only toiletries were shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. I’d come back only at a non-peak price. Otherwise, I’d pay a bit more for a proper four-star place.

Lucia, Gabriela, Julia, and Irene were such great servers. They made the experience for my friend and me amazing. If you’re visiting Barcelona, I’d recommend coming here to see them!

We were very dissatisfied with this stay. The room had an unpleasant smell, like fresh renovation fumes, and the tap water smelled strongly of chlorine. It was an uncomfortable environment, with poor soundproofing, barely any tissues, and a layout that meant we had to move the bedside table just to open the floor-to-ceiling window. The hairdryer was badly maintained. Its head kept falling off and hit me several times, which felt unsafe. The overhead shower had such low pressure that it was basically unusable, so we had to use the handheld one the whole time. We chose not to have the room cleaned, and then weren’t given the two small complimentary bottles of water. When we asked the front desk, they said we had to pay €5 per bottle, which seemed unreasonable. We also hadn’t been told when booking that the basic room’s window couldn’t be opened. We only found out at arrival that upgrading to a room with an openable window would cost around €15 a night. That lack of transparency was misleading, and we could easily have put the extra money toward a better hotel.

The friendly staff and amazing housekeepers helped make my stay comfortable and safe. The hotel is conveniently within walking distance of central Barcelona and not far from the Sagrada Família. I walked everywhere, though biking is an option too. For the service and price, I highly recommend it. Thank you!
