My partner and I stayed for three nights in November, and the check-in was a long, complicated struggle. There were far too many emails before our booking, and we had to use our mobile number to get access. We had e-sims and couldn’t use our overseas number, and even as people in our early 20s who are good with tech, we struggled. This requirement hadn’t been disclosed, and without the number you can’t get into the accommodation. The office was a 45-minute drive from the property. When we politely tried to get access, customer service was rude and passive aggressive. Our room also didn’t look like the listing, so check the specific room carefully. I’d choose somewhere else, as there are fantastic alternatives in the same area.

The apartment was generally clean, and we’d stay again. We were in apartment # 1 and only used the elevator when we arrived. The shower sliding door needs fixing, and the exhaust filter could use a clean, but otherwise it was all good. Check-in was at the management office, an easy 11-minute walk from the apartment. Read all the information they send you for a hassle-free check-in.

My fiancé and I spent a few nights at Ola Born in Barcelona in April 2023. Check-in was awful and complicated, and customer service was just as bad. Our room flooded because the water heater leaked, so we had to put pots underneath it to stop the water spreading. They didn’t answer the emergency contact, and management never got back to us about a refund. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone.

The apartment was a great fit for a couple, cozy and well equipped, especially the kitchen. The location is fantastic. Check-in took a lot of emails and required a mobile number for the electronic locks, so that part needs work. Still, I’d stay again 😁

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the room was nicely set up. The staff at the restaurant across the street were really friendly and pointed out the building for us. The towels, though, were rather old and had stains.
