Olivia Plaza Hotel

The room was lovely, overlooking the square, with a table and chairs. The bed was large and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked really well. We felt very safe and had a great stay. The hotel is in a brilliant spot in the heart of Barcelona Gothic quarter. Staff were great and happy to help with anything. They greeted us whenever we came or went, held the door, and explained the room and how breakfast worked. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options for most tastes, and you could order an omelette.

We loved this hotel and would definitely stay again. We looked at so many places online, and the location here is awesome. The hotel has been renovated, and the updated bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. Our bedroom was roomy, bright with natural light and very quiet, and the queen bed was a true queen. The staff were exceptional and arranged dinner reservations at two extraordinary restaurants. Mohamed was especially kind and thoughtful. One evening he helped us log into our Netflix account, shared screenshots of excellent cafes and other restaurants and venues, and told us which areas to avoid. The next day, someone on our tour told us his family had eaten in one of those areas and the restaurant and food weren't good.

We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary after hearing so many good things about this hotel, and it turned out to be truly exceptional. The reception was outstanding, and the hospitality and service were beyond excellent. I can't imagine choosing another hotel on our next visit. Special thanks to Mohammed and the manager, Marco, for making the stay so memorable.

The staff were amazing and treated us really well, which is what makes this place stand out. The location is perfect too. We'll definitely book the same hotel when we return to Barcelona. It's a must for anyone wanting a five-star experience in a great spot for reasonable money.
