Royal Ramblas

The staff really stood out, they were attentive and accommodating, and handled an issue I had quickly and professionally. Breakfast had plenty of choice and a lovely view, so mornings were a treat. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and well equipped, and housekeeping kept them fresh and clean throughout. I had a fantastic stay at Royal Ramblas Hotel and would highly recommend it.

We stayed for two nights in April in a room overlooking Rambla street. Even with construction going on outside, we could barely hear anything because the room was so well soundproofed. Breakfast was very good, the room was clean, and all the staff were pleasant. The location was perfect for walking to everything we wanted to see.

We only spent one night here after our cruise ended in Barcelona, and I wish we could have stayed longer. Traveling as a family meant we needed two rooms: a Comfort Room with Twin Beds and a Designer Room with a King Bed. Both were modern with spacious bathrooms. The Designer Room also had a couch and a view of Las Ramblas, and the cooling worked perfectly. Before arriving, I asked the hotel to arrange rides from the Cruise Terminal and then to the airport the next day. They connected me with their preferred vendor, and everything went smoothly. The driver messaged as I was leaving the ship, met us at the Cruise Terminal exit, and dropped us at the hotel entrance. We arrived early, before the rooms were ready, but the porter patiently let us get things from our luggage before storing it. Guest services emailed when the room was ready that afternoon. The hotel is on Las Ramblas, a five-minute walk from the Hop on Hop off bus and other transport, and ten minutes from the Gothic Quarter. We had a light dinner at La Poma, the hotel restaurant. The pizza, pasta, and sangria were great, and we appreciated the hotel guest discount. I do wish there had been a bar. The breakfast buffet was very good, spread around the second floor of La Poma overlooking Las Ramblas. Before checkout, Guest services told me our transfer driver had arrived early and would wait until we were ready. After checkout, the porter walked us to the vehicle around the corner. There's no parking in front of the hotel. It's an excellent base for Barcelona.

We loved this modern, comfortable hotel. The staff were friendly, and the central location made it easy to get everywhere. Even with construction work going on, the soundproofing was so good that we slept deeply. The bidet was a nice surprise 😅🤍.
