Stay U-nique Apartments Begur

The location was the one thing I liked, about a 15-minute walk from the Sagrada Familia. The building entrance was dirty, with abandoned bikes and rubbish bags inside, and the door wouldn’t close. The apartment itself felt badly neglected. The doors were old, splintered and hard to open or shut, the walls were dirty, and I didn’t feel comfortable enough to unpack my suitcase. The living-room air conditioning didn’t work, and the middle bedroom had neither AC nor a fan. On August 25th, sleeping without air conditioning was unbearable. They said there was a fan in the closet, but it was filthy and completely broken. After many messages and two calls, I finally got them to bring me a fan at 10 p.m. The bathroom looked dirty and had no mat to prevent slipping. The toilet seat seemed like the cheapest one from China, and you had to sit carefully in case it broke. I saw a cockroach in the kitchen, and a small fish insect crawled out on the stained, dirty sofa. I understand the rooms might be fine in winter, but they need to be fixed up for summer. Totally disappointed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
