The soaps are heaven, but the rest of this experience showed real carelessness from the staff. When I asked two receptionists to make sure the room was cleaned, the stain from the dead roach was still there. To me, that points to deep hygiene issues. Management contacted me afterward, and I believe they were sincere, but it was all kind words. They didn't offer a refund for the night I couldn't stay. I found a roach in the room when I arrived around 4 am. The staff member on duty searched for a bit, said it was gone, and left. He showed me the hotel was fully booked, and moving me to another branch wasn't possible. Exhausted after a long delay, I had no choice but to stay that night. Luckily, while I was changing, the roach reappeared on the floor and I managed to kill it with my shoes. I told another receptionist the next day and asked for a thorough cleaning. He offered another room, but it had the same layout, and I didn't want to carry everything over, especially since there could have been another one. That's not to say the hotel is infested. There can be one bug without there being others. I slept somewhere else that night. When I returned to the room the next morning, the stain was still there, even though two staff members knew about it and I'd asked for it to be cleaned properly. At that point I decided to leave. Finding an accidental bug is one thing, but seeing the stain after two cleanings is another.

Carlos was lovely to deal with when we arrived. He shared great local tips and helped us settle in, and his calm manner suited the hotel's relaxing atmosphere. I felt at ease each time we came back. We absolutely loved staying at TOC Las Ramblas. It's right in the centre of Barcelona, within walking distance of everything, including the tourist buses we used to explore the city. Our stylish, comfortable room had a bed that made it easy to sleep after long days out. The modern bathroom stood out too, with both rainfall and handheld showers. Big thanks to Carlos for making the visit easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend it!

Matias at the front desk really stood out. He was friendly and professional, gave us helpful recommendations and directions, and made sure everything about our stay went smoothly. The hotel is centrally located, with easy access to public transport and restaurants. We had a fantastic stay in Barcelona and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

We were in a rush to catch our flight on Saturday morning because it was St. Patrick's Day and we were worried about road closures, so I regret that I can't remember the name of the other person who helped us check out. The reception team were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially Jonathan and Matias. We really enjoyed our stay at the TOC Hotel on Las Ramblas. It's right in the heart of the city, close to lots of shops. The accommodations were clean and spacious enough for four guests. The hotel looks recently renovated, which added to its pleasant, relaxing feel. I highly recommend it for the service and accommodations.
