Yurbban Ramblas Boutique Hotel

Ramon gave us such a warm welcome, helped bring our bags from the street to the room, and was great with check-in and recommendations. All the staff looked after us brilliantly from start to finish. We had a premium room with a sunny balcony directly over Ramblas, which felt special. The hotel also had lots of nice touches, including cava on arrival and little treats left on the bed on different days. The beds and shower were good, and it had all the comforts we expected. The rooftop bar was great, and there was complimentary wine daily from 7-8pm. Given the city’s prices, it’s great value at this price point. We got so much warmth and care here, and hugely recommend it.

Construction on La Rambla was the one thing that made our stay difficult. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony much, and getting to the hotel was a challenge. Taxis and cars couldn’t reach it, so with all our luggage we had to be dropped off or picked up a block away or across the street. That was especially hard because someone in our group had mobility issues and couldn’t carry their own bags. The construction fencing also left a very narrow sidewalk outside. I’d asked about the work before arriving and was told it wouldn’t be a problem. The hotel windows were fairly soundproof, and work didn’t start until 9am, but I wouldn’t stay again until the construction in this part of La Rambla is finished. The hotel itself was wonderful, with great staff. Yurbban Ramblas Hotel is very central, the rooms were spotlessly clean, and check-in and checkout were smooth. Our room was small, but workable for a short city stay when you’re out most of the time. It had good amenities, including a shower timer and cute signs, plus a lovely balcony. Breakfast cost EUR19 per person for the buffet, which had plenty of good food and a wide selection. I also liked the rooftop terrace with its Honor Bar. Ground-floor elevator access was available, and entry at the front door required a key card. We’d stay again once the roadwork is done.

The reception team were what made the stay special. They were genuinely kind and warm, always made us smile, and had a great sense of humor. Their polite, solution-focused approach and the effort they made to help us really meant a lot. In some places around Barcelona we didn’t feel the same warmth, so we especially appreciated the atmosphere they created. We left with very happy memories. The hotel made a lovely first impression with its scent as soon as we walked in, and the design is beautiful. The room wasn’t very practical for us, though the beds were incredibly comfortable and we slept really well. Breakfast was good too. I found the machine coffee beans a little too acidic, and think a different bean might taste smoother and more aromatic. Thank you for everything, such a wonderful team.

Ramon at the front desk was incredibly helpful, and the whole team was great. They went out of their way with recommendations, reservations, transport, and luggage. The rooms were small but thoughtfully designed and comfortable. Everything we wanted to see was easy to reach from this central location, so we got around very efficiently.
