The setting is pleasant, with shade from pretty trees, an on-site restaurant and bread sold from a car in the morning. It’s close to the beach, affordable, and the reception was friendly. The showers and toilets were very clean, and the site was well cared for. The atmosphere was generally friendly, with mostly Spanish pensioners and families around. But on the weekend, kids played and screamed by the shower block until midnight, and it was VERY noisy. We couldn’t even have a normal conversation over a quiet dinner, and nobody seemed to care. Some adults also had a party on Saturday. Every so often there were other loud sounds too, like lawn mowing or a huge gas burner being used to light the BBQ.

The staff were friendly and the facilities clean, and there’s a nice beach nearby. But this is a small site crammed with permanent caravans, with only a few small, sloping spots for motorhomes. The washing-up water was cold and the showers only a little warm. At the end of September, we paid 38 Euros for one night for two adults!

We didn’t stay. In the first week of October, the charge was €35 for one small tent, two people and a car, without electricity. After camping in Ireland, France and Spain, that was the highest price I’d ever seen. We drove 20 minutes to Noja instead and got an ensuite hotel room for just €30, with a balcony looking over a pool, a bar, and the beach and town within walking distance.

A basic campsite that’s handy if you’re passing through, but the price is ridiculous. One night for three people with two small tents came to 50€.

A really tidy, pleasant local campsite with lovely access to nature, hills and beaches. If you’re in a tent, a few more trees would help provide shade.
