There’s lots within walking distance, including a supermarket, EV charger and restaurants, and there’s safe parking. We didn’t have time to properly explore the castle, though it sits majestically on the hill and can be seen from most areas of the grounds. The owners gave us a warm welcome and were happy to help with anything. Our room was bright, immaculate and had everything we needed, with the welcome extras of a double jacuzzi and log fireplace. We’ll definitely return to this wonderful little gem!

A lovely room, amazingly clean and thoughtfully laid out, with a pool and BBQ area as an added bonus. There’s parking on site, and best of all, it’s dog friendly. A hidden gem of a little boutique hotel inside a walled city.

We made a quick trip from Barcelona to Belmonte and stayed at the La Serrería Complex. There was nothing to complain about, quite the opposite, it’s a wonderful place. Silvia and Lorenzo were friendly and provided excellent service, with appreciated tips on places to visit and things to do. It’s clean, well maintained, simple but tasteful, like a hotel Junior Suite in the countryside. There’s a sofa, a large jacuzzi, a fireplace, air conditioning, and a small kitchen with all the utensils we needed, including a dishwasher. We brought our dog and were welcome to do so. We went in January, so didn’t use the barbecue area with tables or the lovely pool. It’s a bit far, but we’ll definitely be back.
