The apartment was in a quiet area, just a short distance from the promenade, shops and lots of restaurants. I had a great week in Benalmadena, thanks to the helpful and efficient staff I met, and I’ll definitely return in the new year. On arrival, Raul at reception explained everything clearly. I paid a reasonable €60 for a seven-day sea and pool view upgrade, and it was worth every cent. I got a slightly larger corner apartment with good views and sunshine from early morning until mid-afternoon. The apartment was very clean and had everything I needed, including a washing machine, dishwasher and full-size fridge-freezer. The furnishings and fittings are starting to look old, but everything worked fine. The bed was very comfortable, and Wi-Fi was included and worked well. Housekeeping came halfway through, changing the bedding and towels.

My partner and I stayed in room 711 at Christmas and were really impressed. The mountain and sea views were beautiful, and the room was very clean with all the amenities available, from cooking equipment to an iron, hairdryer and cleaning supplies. We’re planning another stay.

The location is great, close to the beach, bars and restaurants. The hotel is above average, with clean, tidy rooms and pool area, but there’s an extra charge for any room with a decent view, plus a €200 deposit. Housekeeping wasn’t great, and the night receptionist could do with improving his hospitality skills.

Great for a quick budget break. It was quiet and clean, the service was good and the staff were nice. We even got fresh towels and bedding with room service after three days. No complaints, I’d come back. Well done 👏
