Apartamento Completo Plaza España

The apartment was spacious and lovely, and very near the beach, but the cleaning was awful. There was hair all over the shower and chocolate stains in the kitchen. It really seemed as if nobody had cleaned at all, and the kitchenware was in the same shameful state. We won’t be coming back.

The kitchen is pleasant and functional, the bathroom is good, and the bed is comfortable, though I didn’t think it was great. Beyond that, the whole stay was a hassle. For one night, we had to meet someone on a corner three blocks away to collect the keys. The woman said she would call, but I had to chase her; when she finally called, she was 15 minutes late and didn’t have the keys, so we had to go to a place next door. They photographed my ID on a mobile phone, which didn’t feel right because I had no idea where my data would go or who would handle it. The night was already paid for and non-refundable, and they also held a €200 deposit. If you’re driving, parking is a mess, with blue zone or residents-only spaces. I spent two hours circling before finding somewhere, and had to pay. The sofa bed is practically unusable if you’re more than a few people because it’s literally wrecked. The washing machine and dishwasher shown in the photos have stickers saying they’re for staff use only. It wasn’t worth it, and I wouldn’t choose this place for a holiday.
