Hotel Condestable

It's an old-fashioned, quite dated hotel, but everything from the public areas to the rooms is extremely clean. The bathroom was more than adequate, and the shower was a 10 out of 10. The staff are all great and friendly, and the seaview is absolutely stunning. Bigger cups in the rooms would help, though, so you don't have to make 25 cups of tea each!

Just returned from Benidorm after a wonderful stay at the Condestable. The balcony view was magnificent 👌 and the staff were really nice and friendly. Our room was small but had everything we needed, and the hotel was very clean and tidy. There was a little noise, like doors closing, but nothing major, just the sort you expect. Would I stay again? 💯

We love the Old Town, so this was just the right setting for us, and we're already planning next year's booking. The hotel doesn't have a pool, but with the Mediterranean Sea right outside, you don't need one. The staff are friendly and happy to chat, and we had a lovely view from the top floor. Our basic, modern room was spotless, as was the whole hotel. Towels and bedding were changed daily. There was a kettle and fridge, and the bathroom was basic but very clean, with an amazing shower. The air conditioning was the best we've had in a hotel, and we slept perfectly every night. It's a little jewel, better than some four-star hotels we've stayed in. If clean and basic is what you're after, it's perfect.

The rooms aren't well insulated, so you can hear other guests and people passing in the street. Still, for the price and being so close to the beach, I don't think you can complain. If you want somewhere quieter, pay more for another hotel. For a one-star place, this is exceptional: the staff are very friendly and smiley, and the location is ideal, just a 30-second walk from the beautiful beach.
