Hotel RH Royal - Recommended for Adults By Hoteles RH

The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day, and the staff are lovely. There's lots of choice at breakfast, where the chef is very friendly. The food was fabulous, and the hotel is in a great spot for the old town, new town and beach. I'd definitely go back.

The restaurant staff were fantastic and the food was great. Most of the time, reception were helpful too, but on our last night the air conditioning broke down. It took over an hour from our first call for them to admit there was a problem, which made our final night very unpleasant. The room was okay, honestly. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable for me, and with only a sheet and bedspread, it was cold when the air conditioning was on and too hot when it was off. For some reason, its highest setting was 18.5 degrees C. The bathroom was nice, with a huge walk-in shower, basin, toilet and bidet, and the towels were decent quality. Bar service could be slow, and most drinks were okay, but some seemed very weak. I hardly drink and felt no effect after three or four, except on a couple of occasions. One of our main problems was that there was nowhere comfortable to sit, either in the room or public areas. The hotel's photos aren't up to date. The terrace seats had pads on our first night, but they were removed that night and never came back. We'd booked to stay the whole time but were just very uncomfortable. Sorry, but we'd definitely not stay here again.

On our first trip to benidorm, we stayed at the RH ROYAL. David from the entertainment team is so nice and funny, and we played a few games around the pool. The ALL INCLUSIVE FOOD is top notch, though it's a bit hit and miss.

The food was good, and we were on full board. Staff were friendly too. It's a lovely hotel near the old town, with the beach just a short walk away. I'd return.
