The room had an old-school charm, and the service was exceptional from reception through checkout. It’s right in the town centre, an easy walk from the Guggenheim and the local pintxo bars.

My first hotel stay in Europe was in Bilbao, Spain, and I’ll remember the traditional local welcome. The Spanish cuisine was tasty and nutritious. The Help Desk Officer was cheerful and took good care of me, safely packing up clothes I’d left behind and handing them to my Office Staff Rep. They were shipped to Doha, Qatar, and received in full. Thanks EL de Haro Hotel.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. It’s a lovely hotel in a good location. The hotel itself may not be a true five star, but the service absolutely was.

An all-around good hotel, with easy access to Bilbao’s main attractions and friendly service. They can park your car for you for a 20 Euro fee.

We had a reservation, but the hotel was closed when we arrived, with no sign on the door to explain what was going on. We called the only number available and were told they really were closed and our reservation had been moved. We had to pay for another taxi to reach the other hotel. Very poorly handled.
