Hotel Pazo de Bieite

Rosario can tell you the story behind the hotel, its art and the many architectural drawings on the walls. Don’t miss the little chapel just to the left after you enter. I only wish I’d stayed more than two nights, maybe at least one extra. This boutique hotel has something magical about it, and breakfast by a big wood-burning fire with welcoming, accommodating staff was a lovely start before heading out on the Camino. Thank you for the memories. It’s a wonderful hotel I won’t forget.

We loved our three nights here while walking the Camino Santiago French route from Sarria. The grounds are stunning, the food is outstanding, especially for GF, and the hospitality is top notch. Amazing accommodations, and I hope I can return.

This beautifully restored Manor House is an exceptional place, elegant yet comfortable, and a charming oasis. Its owners, Rosario and Jose Manuel, have done a lovely job with it. Rosario welcomed me into her “home” and was wonderfully kind. When I set off barefoot to explore the grounds instead of wearing my clunky hiking boots, she even offered me spa slippers. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, served in the style you’d expect from a top fine dining establishment. It’s also well located for people walking the Camino Norte. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

I stayed here while walking the Camino de Santiago, and it was heavenly. You feel like royalty, and the place is completely peaceful and endlessly charming. I can’t think of a single thing that could be improved.
