The restaurant was very good, and everyone was kind throughout our stay. There was some sort of issue with the shower, though. It smelled bad, and when we arrived there was a strong perfume scent that faded during our one-night stay, leaving a strong unpleasant smell. Everything else was fine.

The breakfast was generous and delicious, especially the fried eggs, and the staff were friendly. Our room felt like something from a fairy tale, with restored old furniture and a fairly nice view of the valley. Be sure to look at the lamp in the dining room in the main building. I’d definitely like to come back.

The rooms are clean and just as they appear in the pictures. We enjoyed the views of the wineries, and the museum, restaurants and plenty of wineries are close by. Breakfast was well worth the 5 euros.

The location is perfect for visiting La Rioja, and the hotel is really clean and lovely. Our room was spacious, breakfast was decent, and the staff were very helpful and nice.
