We booked directly with the hotel instead of through Booking so they could avoid paying a commission, and expected a better room for doing that. The room was awful: tiny, with a window facing a covered air shaft, so there was no fresh air. The air conditioning didn’t work and only put out a sewer smell. There was a constant buzz from an installation upstairs, a lot of noise, and a hard bed. We complained the next morning. The receptionist officially apologized, but seemed used to these complaints and didn’t care. She also admitted the walls and doors were “made of paper.” This hotel is a disgrace. If zero stars had been an option, I’d have chosen it.

We especially liked the restaurant, where everything was delicious and good enough to bring us back two days in a row. The hotel was spotless, and our balcony room was a real pleasure. Staff were friendly and gave us information about the area. We came for a weekend of canyoning and hiking, and the location worked well for outdoor activities. Parking in the village was easy, and the peaceful, quiet setting was perfect for relaxing.

We loved our weekend stay! The breakfast package was fantastic, and the bathroom had a hairdryer and shower gel. Our room was on the first floor. There was some dampness on the ceiling, but it didn’t bother us. The room was large, and while everything else was clean, there was dust all over it. 🥰

Breakfast was quite good, and the value for money was very acceptable. Our room was spacious, with a sloping ceiling, though the floor could use a few small repairs. The restaurant also serves dinner. We’ll come back.
