El Balcón de Renedo

We had dinner at the bar, and it was pretty good. The breakfast was good too, with tasty bread and both sweet and savoury choices. You can bring your pet, which is a plus. The rooms smelled of sewage from the bathroom, and our door didn't work very well. It's an old hostel, really suited to sleeping for a night before carrying on with your journey, but it wasn't bad for that.

It's a peaceful spot with good views, and the owner was very polite. The breakfast was generous. The guesthouse has a rustic charm, with small but clean rooms and bathrooms that look like they're from the 70s or 80s. The only real nuisance was hearing the pipes whenever other guests showered.

The price was great, and the staff were very attentive. It's neatly kept and well placed for exploring the area. Breakfast service was excellent. The café doesn't stay open late, but there's another one next door, along with a restaurant or two. The area is pleasant, like the rest of the valley.
