At night, the noise became a real issue, and we slept so badly that we left a day earlier than planned. We learned that Cadiz collects garbage in the very early hours every day, presumably to keep pests away, and the town is indeed very clean. But from about 2am until 4am there was a lot of noise from bins being moved and the truck emptying them, along with plenty of other noise. I've never encountered this elsewhere in Spain, though I could be wrong. It's surprising that no other reviews mention it. Anyone wanting quieter nights might prefer to stay farther out of town. The flat itself was lovely, centrally located, handy for everything, spotless, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Violeta offered us another apartment, and we appreciated her effort, but it was in a similar spot and two floors up, so it wouldn't have fixed the noise or helped us sleep. We understand this isn't the flat's fault and is outside her control. Communication with Violeta was good and efficient.

We didn't cook at all, since all the nice restaurants and tapas bars are so close. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our couple of nights there last week. The owners were very obliging. We highly recommend it and will definitely stay again.

Cozy inside, clean, and close to everything. The host was nice, and the apartment was well equipped.

It looked nice, but the door was shut and there were no instructions on how to get in touch with them.

Much better than three- and four-star hotels. Very good apartment with a full kitchen, heater, and air conditioning, and everything is nearby. Recommended!
