HM Isabela-Adults Only

We were checked into a dirty room, but the staff moved us straight away and handled it with fantastic service. The hotel was otherwise extremely clean, including the food and pool areas. It’s a beautiful place with a relaxing atmosphere, well suited to a couple’s break, and our balcony was a lovely touch. The cocktails were pre-made, but the other all-inclusive drinks were delicious. More buffet signs explaining allergies and dietary preferences would help. There are fun activities close by, and I’d highly recommend the hotel.

We got a junior suite upgrade, and the room itself was lovely, but storage was very limited. There were just 5 hangers in the wardrobe and no drawer space. The terrace didn’t get sun until late afternoon. The food was okay, though repetitive and lukewarm. There was no evening entertainment in the hotel bar. For the money we paid, it wasn’t good value.

We stayed at HM Isabela for a short break in May 2025. The location is superb, just a minute from the main beach in Santa Ponsa and a good base for exploring. It’s behind a row of shops, though, and there’s no hotel parking. The entrance is easy to miss, and the narrow one-way street means you can’t stop right outside. As an adults-only hotel, it suited us well. It has recently been refurbished to a high standard, and the room was immaculate with a fantastic rain shower. The whole place was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the friendly reception, catering and bar staff were happy to help. We chose all-inclusive, so didn’t need cash or cards. The included drinks list was limited, with the basics covered, but it was enough for us. There was plenty of food choice for even the pickiest eater. The pool area was immaculate too, with different sunbeds and larger Bali beds available for an extra charge. On departure day, there was a large luggage room with lockers for guests to use themselves. We could still enjoy all-inclusive activities after checking out, until our pickup. We’d highly recommend HM Isabela for a relaxing break away from your children.

We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, and the continental breakfast was fab, with a great range of meats and cheeses. I didn’t try the English options, but they looked as good as you’d expect in a Spanish hotel. The pool area has a lovely view of the pine tree park and beach. Our room wasn’t the biggest, but it was nicely appointed and had a free safe. The hotel is modern and comfortable throughout, and all the staff were lovely. One of the best hotels I’ve visited.
