Occidental Cala Viñas

We were so glad we picked this hotel. The sea-view room was beautiful, the staff were lovely, and everything was clean and well kept. Restaurant meals were fresh, tasty, varied, and really good quality. And that brownie was a work of art. Huge thanks to the confectioners and all the chefs! The activities were great, and the evening show by the Tanzanian artists was wow. Carlos deserves a special mention for the jokes, friendly manner, and the great mood he brought. I was touched by the birthday treat, and grateful to the administrator and the ladies at reception for their help. They made our holiday, and my birthday, feel especially warm and memorable. For us, this was the best hotel, food, place by the sea, and staff. Wishing you continued success and many more happy guests!

We've stayed twice, and I'd happily return again and again. It's peaceful and right on the water, set back from town, which is about a 25 minute walk away. There's a little beach below, or you can walk from the pool over the rocks and jump into the water. The team are fun, helpful, and wonderful, the food is varied with something different each day, and there's entertainment every night. We loved it.

The food was fresh and very good, and I spoke with the restaurant manager, who kept a close eye on both the meals and service. A big thank you to the team for doing such a good job. The rooms were very nice, and the animatours made things fun with their games, care for guests, and great humour. Sending warm greetings to Carlos, Ciccio, Nadir and Cappucino. They put on evening entertainment for both children and adults every night.

The pools were colder than we hoped, and there weren't enough parasols. That was our only real drawback on this girls' trip. We still had a brilliant time, with the beach just seconds away and plenty else to do. The location, facilities, food, and staff were all great, and going all inclusive was definitely worth it. DJ Santana, Cappuccino, Cico and the rest of the animation team kept us laughing with games, activities, and evening shows. We'd recommend it.
