The room had some ants, and it wasn't very soundproof. In the mornings I could hear the cleaning staff in the hall and other guests. Still, the surroundings were peaceful and quiet, the location was close to the beach, and the food was really good. The cocktails were excellent, and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. I had a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

This was our second visit in two years, and the food and service are the main reasons we'll return. Everyone on staff was friendly and very helpful. The indoor pool and wellness facilities were great to use in early May, and having a secure bike room was really handy. Great value for money, and we'll definitely come again.

The service was poor and the rooms were old, so I wouldn't recommend it for a holiday. It seemed mainly aimed at pensioners. The dinner card system was strange: you couldn't take someone else's table, while staff acted as if that was a major problem. On the plus side, the hotel is close to the sea and dinner was pretty good.

For the price, this is a good all-round hotel. It's easy to reach and close to everything, with friendly, incredibly helpful staff. The spa services were good, the buffet food was good too, and the rooms were perfectly satisfactory for what we paid. We had a great view. It's a very German area and the town feels very old Spanish. The hotel could use some modernisation.

The poolside lunch was good, and the quiet pool and spa made our one-night stop a lovely way to finish a week hiking the GR. We were there in the third week of April, when the hotel was fairly empty, and I could easily picture staying for a whole week. We skipped breakfast and dinner. One thing that felt out of date: signs about social distancing and Covid were still posted around the hotel and spa. It’s not 2021 anymore, and seeing them just brought back a time I’d rather forget while on holiday.
