The birdsong made for a peaceful soundtrack, and the cockerel wasn't too loud. Our host, Israel, was friendly and really helpful, and the valley views were spectacular. The apartment was well equipped for cooking, had a balcony with outdoor seating, and the Wi-Fi was acceptable. You'll need your own transport. Covadonga and los Lagos de Covadonga are only a few minutes away. I wouldn't bother with Cangas de Onis, it's just a load of souvenir shops selling tat.

We stayed downstairs in one of the three separate apartments, with our own entrance, which was very handy. Our family of four was comfortable there for four days. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen, and the location is good for Cangas de Onís and Covadonga. The house is simple, pretty and welcoming, with lovely views, and the owners are very friendly. We'd definitely return.

We went last summer and are coming back this winter! 😂😂 The stay, the views, the sunrises, and our hosts Raquel and Irra were all unbeatable. A lovely place to come back to. We found the apartment clean and comfortable, and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were happy to suggest things to do nearby. If you're after nature and quiet, this is a perfect place to stay. Thank you, Raquel and Isra, it was a pleasure! 🥰
