Predi Hotel Rural Son Jaumell

We'd stayed at Predi Son Jamuell several times and were often satisfied, but this last booking left us with a price issue. We booked in July, then just a few days later the nightly rate dropped by 70€, a considerable difference over a 10-day stay. I contacted the booking department and the hotel several times, but they refused to help further and stopped replying, even though our booking was flexible. The “best price guarantee” on their website feels like false advertising. The service was bad. I'll gladly change this review if they finally get back to us.

Parking at the hotel was easy, and the staff were great, always helpful. The hotel itself was really lovely, and the on-site restaurant was great too. I highly recommend their paella.

We felt judged throughout our stay with our two young children, which made us feel incredibly unwelcome. One day we were at the pool from 12:30 to 2:30, but the kids were probably in the water for only an hour. A snooty guest complained, and the manager told us to get them out. Nothing was done to make us feel more at ease, and it ruined the rest of our stay. We spent over 3000 EUR for four nights, including meals in the restaurant, so being treated that way was horrible and frankly despicable. It's a lovely hotel for adults and couples, but I absolutely would not recommend it to young families. They should rebrand as adults-only, or for kids over 11 or a similar age, if they value those guests more, which they obviously do. To be fully transparent, they offered us compensation in the form of an upgrade if we return, but we won't be using it.

The food and room were both 10/10, and the whole place was very clean and very, very cool. The staff were sensational, every one of them, especially Anna, Raquel, Christina, Toni and Fini. My wife is six months pregnant, and we had a spectacular three-night stay. We'll be back soon.
