Hotel Serrano Palace

The fourth-floor pool costs extra, but it's worth paying for. The views across Son Moll bay are stunning, and it's very tranquil. This is an old-fashioned five-star hotel in a good way, with kind, attentive staff who remember you. The breakfast buffet was great, as were the room maids. We'll definitely come back.

We spent nine days here and had a great time. The main advantage is how close it is to Son Moll beach, just across the street. A taxi to Cala Gat or Cala Agulla costs 8€ and gets you there quickly. We had a third-floor room overlooking the pool. The service team and cleaning staff were friendly, attentive and very hospitable. The buffet is standard, and the spa is good and opens at 8am. The biggest letdown was the Wi-Fi. It was weak and overloaded most of the time, with frequent dropouts or a poor signal. Sometimes we had to wait a minute or two to load Instagram Reels or browse. That's not good enough for a five-star hotel. The room key setup also feels dated: there's a chip to open the door and a separate card for the electricity. Overall, I can recommend the hotel.

The location is great 🏝️⛱️, and both the food and service get five stars. The kitchen is top-notch, with a high-quality range of dishes, and all the staff are amazing 💎. We'll be back next year ♥️

The staff and management were genuinely friendly, and that part of our stay deserves five stars. But the hotel isn't living up to its five-star promises right now and needs updating. The staff seemed stressed and drained. I think that's down to management and cost-cutting, not the employees themselves. It's also hard to find a way to tip them. The amenities don't feel five-star and need refurbishing, and on some days the food selection was really limited. Extras add up too: the rooftop pool, outdoor beds and pillows all cost extra. The corporate approach feels stuck in the 90s, with costs being cut and add-ons pushed at the expense of staff. I don't think that's a way to create long-term value.
