Hotel THB Cala Lliteras - adults only

The setting and upkeep at THB Cala Lliteras were lovely, and we really hope to come back. Our junior suite had plenty of space, was spotless, and opened onto a private terrace overlooking the sea and pool. The gardens and pool area were also beautifully kept, with a relaxed feel throughout. We were on half board. Breakfast was great, while dinner was fine, though some dishes arrived cold. The staff were warm, attentive and professional, and even surprised us with a birthday card and cocktail. The hotel is an easy walk from Cala Agulla Beach and Cala Ratjada port, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby.

Cala Ratjada is a pretty coastal town, and the hotel looks out toward striking cliffs. Cala Agulla beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and you can reach restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets and small shops on foot. There’s no hotel parking, though we found plenty of spaces along the street. The area felt safe for evening walks and wasn’t noisy with music late at night. Inside, the reception has modern architecture, tall pillars and wide windows that let in lots of daylight, along with tasteful LED lighting. Staff were friendly, and our room was cleaned daily from after 10 am through the afternoon. A few things could be better: the bathroom gets very hot after a shower and could use air conditioning; the curtain tracks are loud enough to hear from neighboring rooms; and the TV in room 350 was awkwardly angled and due for an update. Still, THB Cala Lliteras made for a pleasant stay, and the views really are something to see.

The pool was a real highlight, with lots of seats and a good pool bar serving tasty snacks. We enjoyed the friendly staff there, as well as the lovely sea view from our room. The room itself wasn't very big, but it was certainly enough, and the cleaning staff were kind and came every day. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy. The hotel is a good choice if you want a quiet spot with nice scenery. The sandy beach is close by, though not right next to the hotel. Several restaurants are only a few minutes away, and the main promenade takes around 15-20 minutes to reach on foot. We had breakfast, which was good but not especially memorable. The fresh fried eggs and omelettes were nice, but there wasn't much fruit, much of it was a bit hard, and the juices weren't great. Even so, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it.

We had a sea-view room on the first floor, with a handy balcony and beautiful views of the water and mountains. The hotel is right by the shore, and we were there for my partner's birthday. It's adults only. The room was cleaned daily, and the location worked well for getting to the large beach and town center, both about 10 minutes away. The center has lots of restaurants and shops, and there are tours for yachts, jeeps and other activities. Bikes, cars and electric bikes can also be rented, with a regular bicycle the cheapest option. Breakfast was good and balanced. In the morning you could ask the chef for scrambled eggs, an omelet or sausages, and there was champagne too. Dinner tasted good, with a special chef's dish each evening, but drinks weren't served with dinner, so we had to buy water. The hotel also has a large pool and a bar beside it. The airport transfer took up to two hours depending on how many bus stops there were; by car, it would be about an hour. We left the window open at night and I got bitten by mosquitoes, so remember to close it. There's a forest behind the beach where you can enjoy some peace and nature. Have a lovely holiday, everyone.🌺
