VIVA Cala Mesquida Resort & Spa

The scenery here is stunning, especially at sunrise. It’s a great fit if you like swimming, exploring caves, or spending time on a quiet, beautiful beach. We booked the selection club royal terrace apartment with deluxe all-Inclusive, and for us the price was well worth it. The staff were helpful and attentive throughout. We had a great stay and would happily return.

We’ve stayed here twice with our family, and there’s loads to keep both adults and children busy. The resort has several nice pools, table tennis, bouncy castles, darts, and a show every night at 20:00 with dancing and mascots for the kids. Adults can use the spa and adult-only areas, and there’s an incredible mountain to hike on foot or with horses, as well as a great beach. There’s a good range of food, snacks, drinks, and other treats around the resort. The mountain and beach views are amazing, and the location is fabulous. Staff are welcoming, lovely with kids, and the service is excellent. When we had trouble with the heating, they brought us a heating fan within 10 minutes, and the room was just right within an hour. I’d highly recommend it to families and couples, though I think it suits people with children best.

The food had a good selection and mostly tasted great. A few dishes weren’t to our liking, but everyone’s different. Empty plates were cleared quickly, too. The staff were all lovely and made an effort to say hello. Juan in the restaurant was especially sweet with our son, always greeting him and giving him high fives. We arrived around 11pm and were welcomed by jakcob, I think that was his name. He was so friendly, and then told us we’d been upgraded for free to a room with a sea view. A brilliant start. The room was very clean, the view was fantastic, and there’s plenty to keep children busy. I’d definitely recommend a holiday here, especially with kids.

Waking up to the sea view each morning made our April trip feel extra special. We had a sea-facing room, and the food was good with plenty of choice throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, everyone at Viva Cala Mesquida went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The entertainment team were fantastic and made every day fun. It was such a memorable holiday, and we’d love to return. Thanks to the whole team!
