A warning for anyone bringing children: there’s an electrified animal fence that isn’t insulated from the main building. The cabins also aren’t insulated, so they get like ovens in summer, and the air conditioning is only in the living room. We only learned these things after arriving. The mattresses sag, guests have to take their own trash away, and you can’t share the pool with the other cabin. A disaster. I’ll never come back.

The setting is lovely for a relaxing stay, and the surroundings feel safe for children since you don’t have to worry about roads or other dangers. The views are very nice too. The cabins themselves are cozy and pretty, though the kitchenware could be better. Some porch chairs were held together with cable ties and looked ready to collapse, but the bench area where we had breakfast was ideal. The pool is small, but fine for a quick dip, and my children didn’t need anything more. The pool area was nice apart from a giant ashtray full of cigarette butts. My biggest disappointment was the bikes. I asked beforehand if I could bring my children’s bikes, and was told it wasn’t necessary because bikes were available. When we arrived, they were dusty, had flat or punctured tires, and the chains were locked. I was then told they were rentals: 1 hour €10, 2 hours €15, or 3 hours €20. That felt like an absolute rip-off, and my children missed out on their walk. It’s a very pretty place, but I’m sorry to say I won’t be returning.

I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. Whenever you turn on a tap, the water reeks of sewage. The owner said a little chlorine would remove the smell and that it would be fixed in 5 minutes. I bathed my girls in that water. Are you really trying to cover up a sewage stench? At night, the dogs make so much noise that it’s like an orchestra, and once they finally quiet down, the peacocks come onto the roof. The terrace is covered in their droppings. When I raised these problems, the owner said it was just nature. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT 🤮

We went as a family and will definitely come back. The cabin had all the comforts, plus a barbecue and an outdoor picnic area, and there’s a charming spot to cool off and take a dip. It’s a peaceful place to switch off from stress and reconnect with nature, suitable for solo travelers, couples, or families.
