Los Montes

The lack of blankets made the house uncomfortably cold, and supplies were very sparse: just one and a half rolls of toilet paper for four people over three days. The fridge still had food from the previous guests, too. What really put me off was finding out the owner goes into guests' rooms without asking. That felt seriously disrespectful and unsafe, and I wouldn't stay here again.

What bothered me most was the invasion of our privacy: the owner came into our room without warning or permission. We also found food left in the fridge, had only one and a half rolls of toilet paper for four people over three days, and couldn't find a single blanket despite the cold. Between the cleanliness and equipment problems and the lack of privacy, I can't recommend this place.

The apartments were the highlight for me. Oscar is lovely, and the house was clean and comfortable, with a great location too. One of the best rural houses I've stayed in. We'll definitely come back, highly recommended.

The mattresses and pillows were excellent, and the apartments are in decent shape with nice decor. They seem like good value for the price. Still, the attention to what guests need is lacking. The kitchen has very little equipment, so don't expect to cook much. We had to ask the owner for toilet paper and kitchen roll because both were nearly gone. He brought them that afternoon, but only after failing to check the supplies beforehand. The shower gel was also almost empty, and he said it would be a few weeks before more arrived. There wasn't a hairdryer either, which I consider essential. I didn't ask for one since I didn't need it, but I can't remember staying anywhere without one. A good place at a good price, though they clearly don't take much care to keep everything properly stocked.
