Bulevard Hotel

I've returned to Hotel Bulevard many times over the last two decades, but this year's stay left me disappointed. The location is great, the staff are friendly, and the basic rooms are clean. Still, the hotel has lost some of its charm. It used to feel cozy and old fashioned, but the renovation left it covered in white and grey paint with cheap, mass produced decorations. They even painted the blue bathroom tiles white. Showering there felt like being in an asylum. I don't understand why they changed it. Breakfast was at another hotel, and the girl at the desk didn't clearly explain the hours, so we missed a day. I wish we'd known in advance we'd have to walk there. That hotel was in a nice location, which was pleasant, but I'd rather eat breakfast where I'm staying. If you only need a clean place and don't care what it looks like, this may suit you. If you're after somewhere fancy or with more vacation vibes, it probably won't. I might stay somewhere else next year, unfortunately.

The location was amazing and the staff very nice. The air conditioning was tied to the main electricity switch. It was really hot when we arrived, so I turned the switch off, then woke up freezing and couldn't get it back on. The shower wasn't very good either.

A nice little hotel in a great spot for cafes and restaurants. It works well if you're on a budget, and there's car parking too.

The owner and staff were very kind and helpful with information about tourist areas. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the rooms were nice, clean and had a terrace. If I go back to girona, I'd choose this hotel again.
