It’s a lovely-looking house, but getting around it was uncomfortable. There are stairs and steps that could be a bit risky for children or older people. Some upkeep is overdue on the doors, bathroom, and floors. We managed for the four days we were there, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The manager was very professional, and the villa’s location by the canal is excellent. It’s a spectacular place, with an indoor pool and roomy bedrooms. During quieter periods, more flexible check-in and check-out times would make it better.

We weren’t told beforehand that the pool was being built. The villa itself was lovely and clean, and the location was good.

The hosts were attentive and available if we needed anything, though we never had to call on them. Everything was spotless and the facilities had all we needed. We had a very pleasant family stay at Villa Requesens, in a quiet, well-located area, and everyone was happy. We’d gladly do it again and will certainly return. All the best!

There’s a supermarket nearby, and the villa has plenty of space. It was clean and cozy, with a handy kitchen and a pool that’s open in the off-season. The hosts and staff were friendly and helpful, and we thought it was great value. We’d love to return.
