The location worked perfectly for us, and Silvia, the owner, was an absolute delight. The house felt authentic, was spotless, and every little detail seemed just right. We had a wonderful weekend.

The listing photos don't give an accurate picture of the accommodation, and the reviews seem outdated, so I feel I should mention this. The upstairs floors slope so much that sleeping is difficult, and you can even see the tilt in the downstairs ceilings in the photos. The first bedroom doesn't have walls or a door. Also, the bedroom shown with the red door in the pictures isn't actually part of the house.

Alberto and Pilar are absolutely lovely, and they've done a fantastic job with the house. It's decorated in Moroccan style, with exquisite taste and care in every detail. Spectacular place, highly, highly recommended.

The house is a lovely little Moroccan-style place, and we loved it. There's also a hiking route from the house along the edge of town, with fantastic views of Cazalla. You can find bars, cafes, a Wednesday daytime market, a pizzeria, and Peña Bética near the fair park, so the location is magnificent. Arriving by car over those typical mountain village slopes had me thinking, “ofu...” at first, but I was very happy once we got there. And anís el clavel is a 10.
